NORTHERN SOUL
Taken 200 yards from my childhood home in Manchester in the industrial zone bordering my estate, this series explores my return home from university and my journey through the streets I used to play on, memories of Curby and British bulldog now replaced by an oppressive landscape of looming silence and economic failure. A town that not only stood the test of time but was lost to it also.
Beauty can be found in the most unlikely of places, it's how you choose to view the world that determines whether you see it or not.
